Spring actuated PTFE sealing element is a high-performance sealing element equipped with special springs inside U-shaped PTFE. By applying appropriate spring force and system fluid pressure, the sealing working lip is pushed out and gently pressed against the sealed surface to produce excellent sealing effect. Its sealing working lip has the characteristic of being short and thick, thereby reducing friction and extending service life.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a sealing material with excellent chemical resistance and heat resistance, which can be applied to the vast majority of chemical fluids, solvents, as well as hydraulic and lubricating oils. Its compression deformation is very small, so it can achieve long-term sealing performance.

PTFE mixture material has good chemical inertness and temperature resistance (can work continuously at 250 ℃). It uses PTFE as the matrix, filled with different materials and filling percentages to achieve different physical and chemical properties and meet the requirements of different customers. It should be noted that such materials cannot come into contact with strongly alkaline materials such as sodium metal, fluorine, and fluorinating agents.

The temperature range for PTFE spring use can range from refrigerant to 300 ℃, and the pressure can range from vacuum to ultra-high pressure of 700kg/cm2 (about 70MPa), with a movement speed of up to 20m/s. Springs can be selected from stainless steel, corrosion-resistant alloys, etc. according to different usage environments, making them suitable for various high-temperature corrosive fluids.
