Installation of rotary PTFE elgiloy lip seal

The rotary PTFE elgiloy lip seal should only be installed in open grooves.

To cooperate with concentricity and stress free installation, follow the following steps:

1. Place the seal into an open groove;

2. Install the cover without tightening it first;

3. Install the shaft;

4. Fix the cover on the body.

The spring energized teflon seal is a special sealing element developed for applications with high temperature corrosion, difficult lubrication, and low friction. The combination of different Teflon composite materials, advanced engineering plastics, and corrosion-resistant metal springs can fully meet the increasingly demanding diversity needs of industry. Typical applications include:

1. Axial seals for the rotating joint of the loading and unloading arm;

2. Seals for painting valves or other painting systems;

3. Seals for vacuum pumps;
