PTFE energized seal is a high-performance sealing ring made of stainless steel springs embedded in a PTFE sealing ring. Springs can be U-shaped, V-shaped, O-shaped, etc. It is achieved by applying appropriate spring tension and system fluid pressure to gently press the sealing lip against the metal surface being sealed, creating an excellent sealing effect. Widely used in various industries, such as food industry, medicine, petroleum, chemical machinery equipment, valves, vacuum pumps, pressure vessels, hydraulic cylinders, aerospace equipment, etc.

The PTFE spring energized seal has the following characteristics:

Low and high temperature resistance -200 ° C to 260 ° C (-328 ° F to 500 ° F)
