Buna-N Rubber and NBR are both the same material and a type of synthetic rubber. Buna-N is a trademark name, while NBR is a common name, representing Nitrile rubber.

Features of Buna N Oring Joints Toriques

Nitrile rubber has excellent oil resistance and non-polar solvent resistance, as well as excellent mechanical properties and air tightness. Suitable for aliphatic hydrocarbons such as propane, hexane, mineral oils and fats, fuel oils, vegetable and animal oils, silicone oil, silicone grease, chemical fire extinguishing agents, acid alkali salt solutions diluted at low temperatures, and water below 100 ℃. However, it has poor resistance to aromatic solvents, halogenated hydrocarbons, ketones, and ester solvents, as well as strong acids and bases.

Low temperature resistance level: -55~100 ℃

High temperature resistance: -30~125 ℃ (air) -30~150 ℃ (oil)
