Nitrile rubber (NBR) is famous for its excellent oil resistance, which is second only to polysulfide rubber, acrylate rubber and fluororubber

Nitrile rubber is a synthetic rubber prepared by copolymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile. There are five types of acrylonitrile content (%): 42-46, 36-41, 31-35, 25-30, 18-24. The higher the content of acrylonitrile, the better the oil resistance, but the corresponding decrease in cold resistance. It can be used for a long time in air at 120 ℃ or in oil at 150 ℃

Applications of NBR oil resistant rubber O-ring

It is suitable for dry petroleum hydraulic oil, glycol hydraulic oil, diester lubricating oil, gasoline, water, silicone grease, silicone oil and other media. It is a widely used rubber seal with low cost. Not suitable for polar solvents such as ketones, ozone, nitrohydrocarbons, butanones, helioform, etc.
