What gaskets are used for natural gas pipelines

1. Asbestos and rubber gaskets are used for one strand of low-pressure natural gas pipelines.

Asbestos gaskets are successfully made of materials such as asbestos and rubber. These gaskets are used for sealing medium to low pressure steam, gas, oil, and other media, and have advantages such as good corrosion resistance, thermal stability, and good plasticity.

Rubber gasket is a common type of gas pipe gasket, which is affordable, wear-resistant, good sealing, elastic, and so on. However, this type of gasket has insufficient pressure bearing capacity and is usually used in low-temperature and low-pressure environments.
