Viton quad rings can completely replace the O-ring. The non-circular section can avoid rolling in reciprocating motion. It is improved on the basis of the performance of the O-ring, and its standard size is completely the same as that of the American AS568 standard O-ring.

Principle of action

The quad seal ring is a double acting seal with elastic sealing capacity. The pre compression during initial installation generates radial or axial contact stress and system pressure to achieve sealing function.

The superimposed sealing force increases with the increase of system pressure. Under pressure, the X shaped seal ring is like a fluid with high surface tension. It can transmit the pressure evenly to all sides

Working parameters

Dynamic seal:

Reciprocating motion: ≤ 5Mpa No retainer ring: ≤ 30Mpa Use retainer ring.

Rotating movement: gear ring shall be used for ≤ 5Mpa.

Static seal:

≤ 5MPa without retainer ring: ≤ 40Mpa with retainer ring.
