Rubber gasket seal refers to a thin sheet shaped rubber product that serves as a seal between two stationary surfaces of a metal flange or other connecting part. It can be manufactured by mold pressing method or processed with vulcanized film. It can be widely used in various mechanical equipment, serving as a gasket, sealing, buffering, and other functions.
A brief introduction to some properties of rubber
Nitrile rubber (NBR) has excellent resistance to fuel oil and aromatic solvents, which can meet general requirements and has low cost.
Compared with most synthetic rubbers, natural rubber (NR) has good comprehensive mechanical properties, cold resistance, high resilience, and wear resistance. Natural rubber is not resistant to mineral oil, but is more stable in vegetable oils and alcohols.
Acrylate rubber (ACM) has excellent comprehensive properties of heat and oil resistance, and can be used at temperatures as high as 180 ℃ -200 ℃. Ozone resistance, flexibility resistance, sunlight aging resistance, good airtightness, rubber transparency, and good fabric adhesion.
Fluorocarbon (FKM) has the best heat resistance (decomposition temperature greater than 400 ℃), oil resistance, solvent resistance, climate resistance, and chemical medium resistance
Hydrogenated Nitrile (HNBR) rubber has excellent heat resistance and oil resistance, which is five times higher than Nitrile rubber in fuel resistance and ozone resistance, and has good wear resistance
