AED seal (Anti-Explosive Decompression) offer excellent performance in explosive decompression (ED) and resistance to rapid gas decompression (RGD). It is used in extreme conditions, such as the high pressure applications encountered in the Oil and Gas industry.

There are two types of rubber can be made AED seal, one is FKM, and the other is HNBR. To subdivide, it can be Type B Viton, FEPM/Aflas®, FFKM, GLT, HNBR, and HNBR LT.
