The Glee ring is composed of a rubber O-ring and a PTFE ring. The material is PTFE+NBR. In special cases, the rubber elastomer NBR is FKM.

It can be divided into hole gland ring and shaft gland ring, but its sealing function is the same. According to its own deformation, it will produce high initial contact stress on the sealing surface to prevent the leakage of pressureless liquid.

When the hydraulic cylinder is working, the pressure liquid will squeeze the square seal ring to the maximum extent through the elastic deformation of the O-ring, making it close to the sealing surface and generating high additional contact stress that increases with the pressure of the pressure liquid, and together with the initial contact stress, it will prevent the leakage of the pressure liquid.
