NBR 70 o ring has the characteristics of good oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance and strong adhesion of rubber. It also has the defects of poor low temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, poor insulation performance and insufficient elasticity. However, due to the good water resistance, air tightness and adhesion ability of nitrile Q-ring, it has the ability of long-term stable use in air at 100 ℃ or oil at 110 ℃. Some special NBR 70 o ring can withstand a higher temperature of about 20 ℃.

There are some precautions for the storage and use of nitrile O-rings that can play a stable role in a special use environment:

In order to prevent damage to the normal operation and quality of the O-ring, we should pay attention to the following requirements when storing and installing the O-ring:

1. Avoid sunlight, because the weather resistance of nitrile is not good, especially the ultraviolet resistance

2. The NBR 70 o ring will occasionally change color during storage, that is, white powder will be produced on the surface of the O-ring, which will not adversely affect the function of the O-ring;

3. Prevent binding and hanging on the needle or metal wire to avoid O-ring deformation and lip end damage;

4. Do not open the original packaging of the O-ring when it is not in use, to avoid dust and foreign matters attached to the O-ring that may cause damage to the O-ring;

5. The groove and O-ring can be coated with sealing medium during installation;

6. Try to prevent direct sunlight or place it near high temperature heat sources such as boilers to avoid aging of sealing rings;

7. When installing into the groove, be careful not to twist the O-ring.

Finally, it should be noted that the nitrile rubber O-ring is a disposable sealing material, which will not recover from wear after use. Therefore, although the replaced O-ring is still in good condition, its function has declined due to pressure to some extent, so it cannot be used again. The regular replacement of new O-ring is conducive to maintaining the mechanical sealing effect and prolonging the service life of mechanical components.
