The full name of the material of Aflas® o ring is tetrafluoroethylene propylene, also short in FEPM or TFE/P. Aflas® is a brand name which is registered by AGC.

Aflas® O ring is a type of FKM O ring. Compared to the common FKM, Aflas® works much better at aspect of media resistance, especially the alkali and steam. At the temperature range, Aflas® performance better at low temperature resistant, while other FKM withstand higher temperatures.
