What is encapsulated O ring seal

The encapsulated O-ring (tetrafluoroethylene) organically combines the elasticity and sealing properties of rubber with the chemical resistance of Teflon. It is composed of an inner core made of silicone or Viton rubber (fluororubber) and a relatively thin Teflon FEP (polytetrafluoroethylene propylene) or Teflon PFA (soluble polytetrafluoroethylene) outer cover. This rubber Teflon sealing ring has excellent sealing performance.

Difference between PFA and FEP

The difference between PFA and FEP is that PFA has higher tensile strength and tensile resistance, while FEP is not as good as PFA
