1. Factors of sealing ring shrinkage and stretching amount
Because the formulas of plastic particles used in the production of sealing rings are different, the shrinkage and stretch amounts of sealing rings produced by different manufacturers are different. When the sealing tank is shrunk for a long time, it will cause stress relaxation in the shrinkage. This situation occurs, and as time goes by, this situation becomes more and more serious. The longer the time, the smaller the amount of shrinkage and stretching, resulting in insufficient ductility of the sealing ring, and eventually compression deformation problems occur.

2. The relationship between temperature and the relaxation process of the sealing ring
Temperature has a great influence on the relaxation of the sealing ring. No matter which vulcanized rubber material is used, the embrittlement rate will be accelerated under the action of high temperature. The higher the temperature, the greater the probability of deformation, when the deformation exceeds 50%. If the sealing ring loses its sealing performance, leakage will occur.
When installing the sealing ring, there will be an original stress, which will gradually decrease or even subside as the sealing time increases and the temperature increases. Even if the rubber material used has good temperature resistance, However, as the temperature affects it, the probability of deformation also increases.

3. The harm of material pressure to sealing ring deformation
Compared with the two factors introduced above, the material working pressure is more harmful to the deformation of the sealing ring. It is the main factor leading to the deformation of the sealing ring. Especially with the development of intelligent hydraulic press equipment, the material working pressure of hydraulic presses has become more harmful. Large, if the sealing ring works under such high pressure conditions for a long time, it will easily cause deformation, and importantly, this kind of deformation is not reversible.

Therefore, when designing the sealing ring, it is necessary to select the appropriate rubber material based on the pressure. The higher the pressure, the higher the high pressure resistance properties of the selected rubber should be.
