What kind of rubber material can be made rubber seals for food containers?

Theoretically, the rubber can pass the FDA or any other certification that is requested for food safe can be made rubber seals for food containers. For example, Silicone, FKM, EPDM, NBR, etc. But commonly, silicone is always the first choice in daily life, since its mutable choice of color, the flexibility, wide temperature range, long use life, easy cleaning, etc.
