Tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether or perfluoromethyl vinyl ether monomer are combined to form the copolymer known as FFKM. More than 1800 compounds, including organic oxides, inorganic oxides, organic acids, mineral acid, strong acids, strong bases, ketones, esters, alcohols, ammonia, steam, and high-temperature water cannot cause it to corrode. It has the broadest chemical corrosion resistance. Its outstanding performance aids in preserving the seal's integrity, lowering the frequency of maintenance, and enhancing safety.

The FFKM U seal has a symmetrical sealing lip and is used for standard hydraulic cylinders with single or double acting piston rods or pistons.
