What is Buna-N

Buna-N, also known as NBR, NITRILE, or HYCAR, is an excellent general-purpose rubber material. Buna-N (Nitrile rubber) is made from butadiene and acrylonitrile by lotion polymerization. N in Buna-N is the abbreviation of Nitrile rubber.

So BUNA-N is Nitrile rubber, and the abbreviation of sodium butadiene rubber is BUNA, that is, BU is butadiene when BU and NA are separated, and NA is sodium. Nitrile rubber is mainly used to manufacture oil resistant rubber products.
