About size

A brief introduction of the catalog of vacuum O rings. It mainly has3 series, NW series, ISO series, and KF series. Exactly, the sizes are the same among these three series. And their cross section size is the same, 5.33 for small sizes, and 6.99 for big sizes.

About use

Vacuum O rings can be used singly or used in an assembly that has a combination of inner ring, outer ring and a vacuum O ring seal, and the whole set is called centering ring.

Except the vacuum valve and pump, semiconductor industry is also widely used.

About material

According to our experience, there are two types for vacuum components or equipment use O rings. One is NBR, and the other is FKM.

NBR has lower price while FKM has bigger density. NBR works better at low temperature while FKM works better at high temperature. NBR has good physical characteristics while FKM has good chemical characteristics.

Off course, some industries use special FKM O rings, such as peroxide cure FKM, FEPM, FFKM O rings, on vacuum components or equipment. For example, semiconductor industry use a lot of FFKM O rings on vacuum part.
