Leakage indication of sealing rubber O-ring
Rubber O-ring leaks indicate:
There are generally four forms of gasket leakage: interface leakage, leakage, damage leakage, and scattered leakage.
Interface leakage: The compression of the interface sealing gasket is not enough. Due to the rough contact surface of the flange, the sealing interface leakage occurs with the deformation of the flange. In the event of leakage, the use of cushioning material to clamp the flange can prevent it.
Leakage with soft material: Because most of the fibers are simple, it is especially suitable for medium leaching and pressure action. Because of the capillary appearance, the medium will be saturated towards the lower end, forming saturation.
Leakage concentration difference: In the dispersion medium, through the capillary seal, the gap or mass transfer data leakage occurs in the seal. Dispersion is a result of molecular motion and is not unidirectional. Minimum sealing pressure or vacuum conditions, or nitrogen, hydrogen permeable sealing materials, and toxic and radioactive substances, special attention should be paid to both immersion and scatter leaks.
Damage: relative to seal leakage under harsh working conditions, thermal deformation, often due to vibration and shock device errors, excessive fastening force, repeated use, extrusion deformation, stress concentration, damage beyond fatigue strength, data conversion aging, will Damaged leaks formed. The biggest role is to strengthen the prevention of leakage and damage.
