EPDM rubber is a copolymer of ethylene and propylene. It has excellent ozone resistance, aging resistance and weather resistance, outstanding electrical insulation and corona resistance, especially in high-pressure water vapor. Therefore, it can be used as a gasket for high-pressure water vapor devices. Ethylene propylene rubber also has good stability to various polar chemicals, ethanol, ketone esters, acid base, phosphate ester working oils.

Commonly used in working environments such as water, alcohol, hexanediol, ketone, siloxane oil, lubricating grease, and weak acids.

Relatively cheap.
