How hydrogenated nitrile rubber comes

HNBR is a high performance rubber based on NBR. The butadiene unit on the NBR chain segment is selectively hydrogenated, and the unsaturated double bond hydrogenation reaction generates saturated carbon carbon single bond.

The molecular structure of HNBR makes it have good heat resistance and aging resistance, resistance to automotive oil containing corrosive additives, low temperature resistance, and the quality of maintaining physical and mechanical properties equivalent to normal temperature under high temperature.

HNBR industrial products and applications

At present, the main varieties for industrial production are Therban series of Bayer Company in Germany, Tornac series of Polysar Company in Canada and Zetpol series of Zeon Company in Japan.
